Food
I love food. I love to cook, I love restaurants, I love recipes, and I love to eat. I really love to talk about food. And yes, I’m often planning the next meal while enjoying this one. What? I’m Italian, I was born this way.
Wine
Passed WSET Level 2 and I am so excited. It was harder than I expected, there is so much to learn about wine, it makes producing seem straightforward. But they share a lot of concerns. Where is the best location? Will the weather behave? Who is the best team to realize the dream? And will people like the final result?
Shoes
I think I have a slight addiction to shoes. I made a rule, when I moved into my house, that I could only own as many pairs as fit across the width of my closet. Then I realized I could add shelves and stack pairs above pairs of shoes. What do you think? Addiction? The thing is, shoes make even a bad hair day better.
Producing
Ha, you thought this was going to be all about the distractions of life. I actually love producing, to get down to business and sort out a riddle. To see a concept and find the best way of bringing it to life. I love working with a creative and finding ways to give them even more than they imagined they could afford, more than they had time to pull off. When I look at each still, each video, each asset I have helped to create, I am always transported back. I see the boards, the budget, the search. I see new friends, early call times, watching the light, the weather. With each asset, I see the long journey we took to get there.
